Tuesday Trends : Student style by Sabrina

Uni Daze

I’m halfway through my degree, and it has gone SO FAST!
It’s funny how quickly you fall into a routine, and my hour commute onto campus is like second nature now. The early mornings can be tough for sure, and mixed with the unpredictable weather and lack of heating in a lot of buildings at uni, dressing up seems to be a bit of a myth.
But never say that I let a bit of wind defeat me! I’ve found the perfect cold weather uniform that keeps me warm, whilst also tricking people into thinking I’ve put a whole lot of thought into my outfit.

I pretty much lived in oversized knitwear, skinny jeans and boots last winter, and fully intend to carry out this fail safe combination as the cold weather commences.
This cape screams autumn/winter to me due to its cream colour and checkered print (and it’s perfect to wrap yourself in). Skinny jeans are my general go to if I’m wearing boots, because they tuck in nicely without any extra bulge, and I love this particular pair because of how universally flattering the dark indigo colour is.
When deadlines are looming all thought of presentability goes out the window. Natural hair and a makeup free face are totally acceptable on campus. And who has time for contact lenses when glasses are the PERFECT disguise for an otherwise exhausted face?

There have been a lot of dressy outfits here on Sabrina Styles (and a lot more to come), but it’s definitely ok to not look 100% put together all of the time.

P.S- these pictures were taken at 3am amidst essay research at uni (you can’t get more real then that!)
Cape- Boohoo
Jeans- American Eagle
Boots- New Look
