Monday Mood :8th July 2019

Happy Monday to you all!

For those who are in need of some increased motivation for the start of a new week, I have an array of music genre to present to you, whatever your mood and music tastes – from Rock to Grunge to Rockabilly!

Formed in 1964, ‘The Who’, considered to be one of the most influential rock bands, played a mammoth gig celebrating their five-decade career at Wembley at the weekend. They were accompanied by a live orchestra and fans were treated to a string of infamous chart topping hits to include material from their 1969 masterpiece Rock Opera, ‘Tommy’ and their 1973 album, ‘Quadraphenia’.

Preceeding their stage appearance, was a special guest line-up of awe-inspiring talent, lasting three and a half hours including Pearl Jam’s, Eddie Vedder; Irish singer/songwriter, Imelda May; English Indie Rock band, Kaiser Chiefs and 20-year old rising star Connor Selby, fronting his Blues, Rock and Soul band.

Enjoy!
