Tuesday Trends : Our Law in Style event !

I was once against counsel who wore jodhpurs in court. It was a disconcerting experience; her jacket was all business but below the waist she was a walking Jilly Cooper novel. I fully expected her submissions to include references to thrusting stallions mounting fillies as hunky Rupert Peregrine Montague Arbuthnot Whittingshall winked knowingly at Cressida Daphne Plunkett whose moist, pink lips glistened in the sunshine.

This week I finally erased that disturbing image from my mind by watching lawyers wear Pom Pom slippers and slinky cat suits ( not together) as they strutted down the catwalk and quaffed champagne (not at the same time).

Yes, it could only be the Itsalawyerslife annual Law in Style event held with Hobbs and skincare specialists Kiehls.
Once again, the champagne and glamour flowed.
