Tuesday Trends: Christmas party dresses by Keeley

Party season dresses- GLITTER GLITTER GLITTER!

Following on  from the array of glitter and sparkle we saw at the London Fashion awards and given my complete love of all things sparkle, I felt it only right that this week’s  #tuesdaytrends includes my review of the number one glitter/sparkle Christmas dresses on the market.

So, a lot of people have been asking where my long glitter dress for the Fashion awards was from. It was from Next.
Next do a great
collection of party dresses as they sell lots of different brands, alongside  their own. If you’re ever in need of an urgent party frock” (lets face it these emergencies do arise all too often) look no further than the Next website or app. Delivery is superfast either to your door (next day delivery only £3.99 and super reliable) or collect in store is marvellous as well.
My dress was less than £150, so not on the super expensive side, but you probably need to have more than one wear out of it for this price.
You’ll see from the pics that I wore it to a summer event and then added a fake fur shoulder scarf for the fashion awards to keep me warm and to make the dress look a little different.

The sixes for this come up big. Strangely, mine was a size 8 and quite frankly I haven’t been a size 8 since I was born! However, it is VERY figure hugging and so ensure you have your Bridgets at the ready!

Now, the new glitter colour of 2019 continues to be, in my view, rose gold. This colour is absolutely one of my faves . I loved wearing this Rose Gold glitter dress for my birthday recently. It’s from River island. It comes in at £65, is long sleeved so perfect for the horrid wintery conditions and also comes with the addition of a cute attached belt. And not to sound too much like my mum, it’s machine washable. What a bonus!

So, wandering out of Charing Cross station on Saturday I saw this little beauty in the window of my old faithful shop, Next. Again! With a 4 year old in tow en route to Winter Wonderland I didn’t have time to stop and drool over it. So, instead, my mum and I got straight online over dinner to have a look. Mum was eagerly watching over my shoulder and guessed that It would be priced at around £60-£70.  In fact it’s a bargain at £26! Not only that, it comes in a range of colours, including Gold, Red and Black, with a gorgeous scooped back. It’s on order and will hopefully arrive today. They are selling fast though. So if you’re looking for that last minute WOW dress for your Christmas party that doesn’t cost a small fortune, head to next online- www.next.co.uk
