Almost everyone I’ve met recently is avidly following #DeppVsHeard . I’ve never seen such public interest in a trial, especially among the young.

Wonder if it will lead to a spike in applications to Law schools.

11 years ago today Prince William married Catherine Middleton and they were granted the title of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Here’s a selection of some of the stunning photography of that day when so many people celebrated by hosting parties at home as they watch the wedding on television. And elevated 1 million gathered in the mall and around Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park.

“If you got a team of scientists together you couldn’t create the Queen. Winston Churchill said the same year she acceded to the throne. “All the film people in the world if they had scoured the globe could not have found anyone more suited for the part.’” Peter Morgan creator of The Crown
Best actress winner Helen Mirren at the Oscars 2007:
For 50 years Elizabeth Windsor has maintained her dignity, a sense of duty and her hair style! She’s had her feet firmly on the ground, her hat on her head, her handbag on her arm. She’s weathered many storms. I salute her courage and her consistency. Lazing gentlemen I give you – the Queen.

Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore!
Recharging the battery is as essential for us humans as it is for telephones. If you are able to get away somewhere lovely like this, that’s great. But even just a change of scenery in your local area, maybe to a park is a good way to do it.

About Us

In 2019 there were over 128,000 solicitors in the United Kingdom and over 16,000 barristers.

As lawyers, we have a unique lifestyle: we travel to far flung courts at a moment’s notice; we eat on the go; we have a very particular dress code; we work unusual hours; and whilst we are a popular subject for films and television dramas, we are also one of the least popular professionals in the eyes of the public.
