Monday Mood 9.12.19 Christmas by Elisa

Welcome to the time of year where just about every public space is invaded with the sound of Christmas! Yes, it’s December! Tis’ the season of good will and whether you like it or not, there is no escaping Christmas songs.

For the countdown to Christmas, we are transformed by the sound of bells paving the way to festive celebrations guaranteeing to get us into the holiday spirit.

And there’s no escape from here either! Over the next three weeks, we’ll be talking Christmas tunes! We want to hear from you – What do Christmas songs mean to you? What songs remind you of your childhood? What songs have you traditionally continued to play over the years?

And if we don’t hear from you, we’ll be randomly tagging you into our posts! There is definitely no escape!! 😜

So all you humbugs, grinches and scrooges out there who say Christmas music is the scourge of the high street, which has been afflicted upon us too early, bite your tongues – Christmas is only 16 days away!

If you’re not yet feeling Christmassy, here are some famous and well loved songs guaranteed to get you into the Christmas spirit! *Fetches Gin* 😉

Tune in next week for some more festive tunes when I will be sharing my favourite Christmas songs with you.

Until next time!

Enjoy!
