Friday Flight : the majesty of northern Pakistan

Call it politics, prejudice, negative stereotypes or just lack of knowledge – northern Pakistan is not an obvious holiday destination for most people in the West. However they’re missing out on one of the most spectacular, pristine, staggeringly beautiful destinations in the world. And it’s a short flight from the capital, Islamabad.
When you need the basic info, there is no better place than Wikipedia:

Last year I had a chance to go on a trip but sadly, couldn’t. Here are the photos I was sent to show what I had missed out on – a place where you can go from a desert to a snow peak in one day.

Enjoy!
